Santa Hustle Half Marathon

Last weekend Lisa ran another half marathon.  Lisa and her friend decided that they needed a way to  stand out among the 4,000 other Santas, so they added tutus to their outfits.  Lisa's friend did the 5k and then left for work, so this was the first race Lisa has done by herself.  She did great and now has another medal to add to her quickly growing collection.  Next up the Walt Disney World Marathon.

Meet Parker

It has been a few weeks since Bailey died.  We were planning to wait until the spring to get another dog, but we noticed that Duncan was not very happy.  He wouldn't get in his kennel and very rarely smiled or played around.  We thought he was just used to being part of a pack, so we decided to go adopt another dog.

We found Parker.  She is a husky mix and is about 6 months old.  She was a stray dog.  Parker and Duncan got along well at the animal shelter, and both were happy on the ride home.  Since then, they have spent some time deciding who gets to be alpha dog, but those instances are happening less and they are starting to play together more.
